This email will serve as an update on the status and repair of your systems sent in.

Currently I have listed the following machines sent in for repair by you:

HP TX1320US with the serialization of CNF7103DH3

As agreed your system is billed at $125.00 per system.

Now, with the HP TX1001AU with the serialization of CNF7103DH3 has been repaired and is ready for return. The system is labeled HP Spare 441097-001. The system required a reflow on the Nvidia GeForce GO6150 (NF-G6150-N-A2) and the Nvidia NF-430-N-A3 chipsets.

You also need to update the video drivers from Nvidia.com and the BIOS from HP if one is to be applied. Please advise your end user to purchase a cooling pad to help insure the removal of heat from the system.

As agreed your motherboards are billed at $60.00 per motherboard.

Now, with the HP DV9000 with the serialization Unknown has been repaired and is ready for return. The HP SPS spare parts number is labeled 436450-001. The system required a reflow on both the Nvidia GeForce GO6150 (NF-G6150-N-A2) and the Nvidia NF-430-N-A3 chipset.

Now, with the HP DV9000 with the serialization Unknown has been repaired and is ready for return. The HP SPS spare parts number is labeled 447983-001. The system required a reflow on the Nvidia GeForce G86-770-A2, Intel SLA5Q, and the SLA5U chipset.

Now, with the HP DV9000 with the serialization Unknown has been repaired and is ready for return. The HP SPS spare parts number is labeled 447983-001. The system required a reflow on the Nvidia GeForce G86-770-A2, Intel SLA5Q, and the SLA5U chipset. This motherboard had a damaged C28 also. This part was labeled 330/e66 and was replaced by hot air soldering.

Now, with the HP DV9220US with the serialization Unknown has been repaired and is ready for return. The HP SPS spare parts number is labeled 434659-001. The system required a reflow on the Nvidia GeForce GF-GO7600-H-N-B1, Intel SL8YB, and the SL8Z4 chipset.

Please keep in mind you need to reapply thermal compound such as Artic Silver 5. You also need to update the video drivers from Nvidia.com and the BIOS from HP if one is to be applied. Please advise your end user to purchase a cooling pad to help insure the removal of heat from the system.

This email will serve as an update on the status and repair of your systems sent in.

Currently I have listed the following machines sent in for repair by you:

Gateway MX6435 with the serialization of T006A31006605

As agreed your repair is billed at $50.00 for the system software.

Now, with the Gateway MX6435 with the serialization of T006A31006605 has been repaired and is ready for return.

Your system displayed a damaged installation of Microsoft Media Center Edition 2005.

Upon further work, your system was found to have a damaged hard drive. The hard drive is labeled Hitachi HGS-SRB16J9AT0 with a model number HTS54161J9AT00. This hard drive is a 160GB 5400RPM IDE 2.5 inch component. The serial number is SJGAVW8D. The part number is 0A50682. The SPS number is 2MA3HDA004.

The above mention drive was replaced with the following drive. The hard drive is labeled Toshiba HDD2188 with a model number MK8025GAS. This hard drive is a 80GB 5400RPM IDE 2.5 inch component. The serial number is 24NA4237S. The SPS number is 655-1113A.

Your system also required a reinstallation of Microsoft Windows XP Media Center 2005. All drivers were reloaded from Gateway. All updates were updated from AutoPatcher which was dated from 02/2010. The remainder of the drivers was updated from Microsoft Updates on 09/04/2010. Windows XP Service Pack 3 was installed you’re your system. Microsoft Essentials was installed and updated as of 09/04/2010. Malwarebyte’s AntiMalware was also installed and updated as of 09/04/2010.

Now, with the HP DV9000 with the serialization CF6445CR3 has been repaired and is ready for return. The system required a reflow on both the Nvidia GeForce GO6150 (NF-G6150-N-A2) and the Nvidia NF-430-N-A3 chipset.

Your system still displayed issues typical of a reflow repair. Your LCD was changed from the one sent to a shop LCD on hand which displayed a repaired system.

The system was also hooked up to external video, and displayed a working system on external video.

Your system still displayed issues typical of a reflow repair. Your AMD processor was changed from a TL-58 to a TL-60 which displayed a repaired system.
