Jose,

This email will serve as an update on the status and repair of your systems sent in.

Currently I have listed the following machines sent in for repair by you:

Apple MacBook Pro Unibody with the serialization of Unknown

Now, with the Apple MacBook Pro Unibody with the serialization of Unknown has been repaired and is ready for return. The system is labeled Apple logic board 820-2849-A. The system had a reflow performed on the Nvidia GeForce N119-GE1-W-A3, Intel SL6ZS, and Intel SLBZT chipsets.

No power adapter was found within the box with this system.

The MacBook was tested at the following points to see if the backlight inverter fuses are damaged. The ceramic fuse F6903 tested undamaged. The ceramic fuse F7041 tested undamaged. The ceramic fuse F7040 tested undamaged. The ā€œPā€ link fuse F9800 tested damaged and was replaced repairing the video on the system.

The video can be viewed here:

You also need to update the video drivers from Nvidia.com, ATI.com, and the BIOS from HP if one is to be applied. Please advise your end user to purchase a cooling pad to help insure the removal of heat from the system.

If you need more help in explaining these areas to your end user, please visit http://applelogicboardrepairservice.com/helpful-hints/

Pictures of the repair can be viewed at http://applelogicboardrepairservice.com/img if any are to be viewed.

Your system was shipped without a prepaid Fedex label or account for return shipping.

You have 30 days to make this payment from the time the package is delivered the first time.
